Madden 21 First Look Promises Changes to Gameplay

EA Sports released the first look at Madden NFL 21 today, and it has promised a few changes to the core experience. The highlight reel released on Tuesday did not offer any new game play, but did feature some of the changes on the way.

Included in the featured changes were the ball carrier skill stick, pass rushing changes, new celebrations, and more realistic tackling. None of these were actually shown off in-game. It is assumed that EA Sports will show more of Madden 21 at EA Play 2020 on June 18, as well as in additional live streams.

Madden NFL 21 releases on August 25 on Xbox One. Xbox players will get a free upgrade of Madden 21 to the Xbox Series X version of the game if they buy the new console before the release of Madden 22.
