Although we do not yet know the exact launch date of Xbox Series X, we do know that the new Microsoft console will be released at the end of the year, most likely in late November. We are looking forward to this premiere, but while we hold on to know more details about its premiere, such as the release date or the price of the new gen, The Xbox One still has a good list of releases that we can continue to enjoy. Of course, we can take advantage of the Xbox Series X later also through backward compatibility or the use of Smart Delivery.

On August 28th, Wasteland 3 opens, the new installment of the post-apocalyptic saga. This new installment promises to become a tremendous RPG for lovers of the genre. A title that, in case you’re interested in this type of games, you shouldn’t miss to end the summer in the best way before the arrival of Xbox Series X. In addition, Wasteland 3 will premiere directly on Xbox Game Pass.

A little later, on September 4, Marvel’s Avengers will arrive. The promising game in which we’ll play as the Marvel superheroes. Marvel’s Avengers will be, of course, an action title in which the spectacularity of each combat will prevail. In addition, we can enjoy it playing co-op with friends.

Mafia: Definitive Edition
Also on September 25th, Mafia: Definitive Edition will come into our hands. This is the remake of the game with which this acclaimed action saga originated. A game for which not only has the technical aspect been renewed, which certainly looks spectacular. A title without a doubt promising to which we’ll have to be attentive this summer.
First part of the Mafia saga. Lost Heaven, Illinois. 1930s. Thrive as a gangster during the prohibition in this reinvention of the classic. A run-in with the mob introduces taxi driver Tommy Angelo into the dangerous underworld. The popular driving saga will return this October 9th with one of its most ambitious installments to date. Although DIRT 5 will be released on Xbox One, it’ll will make use of Smart Delivery. Also it will be optimized for Xbox Series X with, among other better features, a performance at 120 fps.

Of course, FIFA will return for another year with a new intergenerational installment. FIFA 21 will include new features and the possibility of updating to it’s Xbox Series X version of FIFA 21. For the moment, we will settle for playing these first inter-generational games. Once again, on our Xbox One, since the game will be released on October 9th.

After Man of Medan, this October 30th we will have a new chapter of The Dark Pictures Anthology again. This anthology of horror stories will premiere Little Hope after the summer. Like every chapter in this collection of narrative games, Little Hope will be an independent story, so you don’t need to have played Man of Medan before. This new plot will have nothing to do with the ghost ship from the previous chapter.
All The Dark Pictures Anthology games are separate independent stories, and Little Hope is very different from Man of Medan. Previously you were scared aboard a ghost ship in the South Pacific. Little Hope will make you experience the horror of a creepy abandoned city with a very mysterious fog.
Despite having suffered a new delay of a few months, we continue to wait for it before the premiere of the new consoles. Specifically, for a few days before, since Cyberpunk 2077 will be with us on November 19th. Although it’s optimized version for Xbox Series X will be released later, from the day of launch of the console we’ll have some technical improvements for the game.
